DRCA Supports the Southeast (SE) Private-Public Partners Summit:
DRCA supported the 2024 SE Private-Public Partners Summit which took place in Pearl, MS, on January 31-February 1st. The event was hosted by FEMA Region 4, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and CISA. Mark Misczak, SVP of Tidal Basin Group, represented DRCA on a panel discussion titled, “Private-Public Coordination Success Stories.” The Panel covered success stories between the State Business Emergency Operations Centers (BEOC’s), FEMA, and private sector partners during real world disaster response and recovery efforts.
FEMA Region 4 and MEMA thanked DRCA for our participation and stated they learned a great deal about how to how they can coordinate with the private sector during response and recovery operations. Many thanks to the DRCA members who attended the conference:
