Jed Webb

Vice President of Government Affairs, dsw

Mr. Webb brings decades of experience in all levels of government, specializing in disaster recovery and building resilient communities. His formal education includes bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Political Science from Southern Utah University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Florida State University.

He has served on staff for multiple Members of Congress, including current Texas Representative Randy Weber. Additionally, Mr. Webb served as Government Affairs Director for Galveston County. Currently, Mr. Webb serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs for DSW Homes, a nationwide disaster recovery and affordable housing construction company. 

In 2017, Hurricane Harvey devastated much of the Texas coast. At that time, Mr. Webb, was serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Rep. Weber (TX-14) and became a primary point of contract between survivors and impacted communities. Mr. Webb was able to help hundreds of survivors and dozens of cities get the federal assistance they needed.

As the Vice President of Government Affairs for DSW, Mr. Webb travels throughout the country working with state and local recipients of Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds, to develop productive disaster housing programs and improve active housing programs. His efforts are focused on helping survivors return home to safer and more resilient communities.

Mr. Webb has a passion for helping families in need, by improving government policies and programs. Mr. Webb’s leadership and government experience brings a unique and valuable perspective to the disaster recovery world.
