David Venables

National Account Manager at Lowes

As a National Account Manager as Lowe’s, David Venables is responsible for developing long term partnership solutions for the organizations and government agencies that serve disaster survivors. He joined Lowe’s in 2020. 

David has more than 25 years of commercial construction and property development experience. He most recently served as the Deputy Director of Rebuild Operations at Team Rubicon, where he oversaw the evolution and launch of the newly created disaster rebuild program and the operational execution of multiple post-disaster reconstruction locations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.  Prior to joining Team Rubicon, David spent more than 20 years as a self-employed contractor,  construction manager and property developer.

David is a Marine veteran, serves on the board of the Disaster Recovery Coalition of America and is the former chair of the State of Delaware VOAD.  David started his work in the disaster sector as a regional field operations manager for Team Rubicon, coordinating the partnerships, planning and preparation to ready volunteers and staff to respond to all types of disasters.
