BHL Federal is a General Contractor providing Disaster Reconstruction, Manufactured Housing – Modular and Mobile, New Residential Construction, Residential Remodeling and Rehabilitation, and Home Elevation services. BHL Federal was founded in 2013 in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, which devastated our hometown of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Our primary goal was to help our community recover and become more resilient than before!

 

We have over a decade of experience in FEMA and HUD funded disaster recovery programs through the NJ Rehabilitation Reconstruction Elevation Mitigation, NYC Build It Back, ReBUILD NC and Home Recovery Alabama Programs, completing over 1,000 projects! We are committed to providing premium, safe, turnkey solutions to families in need and we pride ourselves on our expertise and promptness in preconstruction activities, especially our customer service with the homeowners! In addition to our construction services, we have added a sister company, Empowered Recovery Solutions (ERS), a woman-owned small business specializing in delivering industry-leading case management, financial, administrative, and compliance solutions for state, county, and local HUD CDBG-DR programs to ensure our clients receive empathy, resilience, and unwavering support.
